John Deere traveling sprinkler is a great choice. But if you want something more lightweight, look at the Watex WX44 (number two in my review). Like John Deere’s sprinkler, it has two speeds and an auto shut off, but the smaller area of coverage.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, metal sprinklers have a longer life and are more reliable than plastic ones, but they are heavy indeed.

Hi, Thomas! Yes, there is a lot of information on the Internet and sometimes it can confuse users. In my opinion, there are two most important factors you need to pay attention to: the size of the motor and its capacity. So, check these parameters first.

Anette, this decision is a bit tough. I can’t recommend the only one because, apart from the area of coverage, there are a lot of other different parameters. But I’d recommend you to take a look at the Nelson traveling sprinklers. Their coverage area starts from 13,5 sq.ft. Hope it will help you!

Hello, Dina! Yes, I got you with that! Check the comparison table at the top of my review. Running a little ahead, all sprinklers have this option.

Hi, Gary! Check the SNOW JOE 13-INCH ELECTRIC SNOW SHOVEL (the first in my review). I can clear the snow to a depth of 6.5 inches. Compared to other shovels, it is a good result.

Milton, thanks for your question! To evaluate the distance of spraying and the amount of water your new traveling lawn sprinkler can take, you need to find the speed parameter. I recommend you buy the item that has the minimum of two speed options.

Hi, Debbie. Thanks for your comment. On top of my article, I wrote that the optimum choice is to have a 5/8 inch hosepipe, but I really advise you to read the instructions that came with the sprinkler you buy. By the way, this model is a great choice! Hope you will be satisfied with it eventually.

Hello, Dan! It is a very good question. Unfortunately, all electric snow shovels, which are without a cable, very much lose in many indicators to the shovels that are listed in my review, so I did not even include them. Believe me, the cable is not as scary as it seems 🙂

Hello, Jane. It is true that plastic components make a sprinkler less durable. But, on the other hand, today, the sprinkler’s producers learn to make really high-quality plastic which will serve you long enough. Take a look at this model: Watex WX44 Traveling Sprinkler.

Hi, Susan! Thank you for your review. To tell the truth, I thought about it but decided not to include this factor in my review. Here is why: some sprinklers do not stipulate the gallons per minute, as this would be really subjective. The amount of water that they can pass depends primarily on speed, so it is a more important factor to know.

Hi Skipper, good to hear from you. Thanks for reading my blog. You’ve been here with me since the very first post. I appreciate it very much, and I’m glad that my hobby and passion comes with such great perk as meeting like-minded people across the US. Now, getting back to your question…

I recommend HUSQVARNA ST224P. It is rather heavy, but easy to operate even in tight spots. Plow trucks, tractors, skid steers — you don’t need all this now that you can purchase the less heavyweight (and equally effective) HUSQVARNA ST224P model.

The steering is super easy, the engine is rather quiet, the speed is good, and the heated handholds are superb. Trust me, your wife will learn how to use it really fast! HUSQVARNA ST224P is not perfect and does clog once in a while (happens to any snow blower actually), but overall it works like a champ.

In other words, it’s a dream machine for clearing driveways and concrete sidewalks, especially considering that you’re on the hunt for something that will last. Hope that helps.

Good luck purchasing the dream machine 😉 And feel free to get back to me with further questions if there are any. Sincerely, Bryan.

Hi Anthony. Thank you for your question and your feedback about our blog. We appreciate your comments greatly at Now, as for the Black Decker electric lawn mower, the machine is great, especially if you have a small, living-room-sized back lawn. It’s lightweight, which is specially great for your wife and kids!. Also, this lawn mower is super easy to use, clean, and store. And it’s powerful enough for only being 6amp… In other words, it depends on your needs, but overall, the Black Decker electric lawn mower is the perfect solution for small lawn areas. Hope that answers your question. Get back to me whenever you need further assistance or come up with any other questions. Best regards, Bryan.

Hi Dan. Thank you for your question. Congratulations! You’ve bought yourself a great tool for flame weeding, so I recommend that you make the most of your ‘fire-breathing’ buddy whenever necessary. As a matter of fact, a portable propane torch can help you with lots of stuff, be it weed burning, ice melting, bolt loosening, or old paint softening… As for burning weeds with a propane torch, here are some quick steps.
    1. Make sure there are no flammable materials in the area.
    2. Light the tool and walk slowly where flame weeding is necessary, directing the flame along the weeds.
    3. To effectively speed up the process, focus on applying the heat from the torch to the root or leaves of the weeds.
    4. Sweep the dead weeds from the area. And don’t forget to always have a fire extinguisher closeby — just in case.
If you’re wondering about the best time to flame weeds, I like to do it right after a heavy rain — that way, there’s less chance of burning everything down and getting on the news. Never torch weeds if they grow on flammable materials, or during drought periods. Avoid burning poisonous weeds (for example, poison ivy). This can trigger severe allergic reactions.
Dan, make sure you watch a couple of YouTube How-to videos on flame weeding. That way, you will see the process with your own eyes. Feel free to ask further questions if there are any. Good luck and have fun eradicating the pesky weeds! Best regards, Bryan.

Hello Claire. Thank you for your feedback — and for trusting my opinion. Me and Gretchen are happy that our blog makes your busy life a little easier. It means a lot to us. Now, let me tell you about the BRIGGS & STRATTON 1696614 machine. Yes, I’ve had the chance to use it and it’s worth every penny. It’s super easy to handle and powerful enough to deal with 6-8” both fresh and heavy wet snow on a fairly steep uphill driveway (yep, I’ve tested the machine with my buddy when visiting him in Wisconsin). The only thing you may dislike about this snow blower is its assembly manual. Make sure you study the illustrations thoroughly if you want to successfully put the thing together. Please don’t hesitate to contact me whenever you need advice or assistance. Best regards, Bryan.

    Hi Doris.

Thank you for your question and your trust — Gretchen and I highly appreciate it. I respect your neighbor for recommending you to burn weeds with a propane torch, for it really does work. The Red Dragon VT 2-23 C and VT 1-32 C models described in my post above are great. But my personal favorite (also marked as My Top Pick in the article) is the Benzomatic TS8000 model. It is very well-made and has some solid safety features. We also have a big Red Dragon propane torch which works very well for large areas.

What I don’t really like about it is that it’s too wide. If you don’t have a field of weeds and are mostly interested in precision weeding, then the portable Benzomatic TS8000 model is exactly what you need. Really cool and effective when it comes to getting rid of those little guys that keep popping up between pavers. In addition to being great at killing weeds, Benzomatic is perfect for cooking! Yep, it’s gonna help you make those yummy creme brulés crispy with ease. Doris, I hope that answers your question.

Don’t forget to get back to me whenever you have further questions about propane torches or anything related to the topic of our blog.

    Sincerely, Bryan.
